Ancient City Baptist Youth consists of both Middle School and High School Students, from different area schools in St. Johns County. We gather twice a week for Youth Group (Wednesday nights at 6:30 (aka Youth L.I.G.H.T. "Living in God's Holy Truth") and Sunday night @6pm). Sunday mornings we gather during the contemporary worship service (aka Imprint) at 8:45 am, followed by small groups @ 9:50am. We gather for one reason, to glorify God and to grow closer to Him and to each other.

 

ACBC Youth focus on being lights among the darkness of this world. It is only through God's working through us that we are able to do His will. Each time we gather, we focus on God's Word and search out the truth within it to guide us into a more holy and righteous walk. We also focus on the importance of evangelism and repeatedly walk students through different situations and procedures to help prepare them to share Jesus Christ with their peers.

 

Although praising God and glorifying Him in all we say and do is our goal, it isn't always focused around Bible Studies and Small Groups. We participate monthly in an event to grow closer to each other and also let teens be teens. Whether it is camping, lock-ins, go-karts, laser tag, Rock the Universe, baseball games, or anything else, ACBC Youth know how to have a good time. We also participate in numerous missions throughout the year, like mission trips, working at the Florida Baptist Children's Home, hosting dinners for church members and staff, evangelizing St. George Street and washing vendor's windows. We are planning in the future to take some students to Haiti and other international mission trips.

 

ACBC Youth all have different interests and likes. Our Youth enjoy sports, video games, singing, band, acting, reading, the beach, fishing/hunting, working out, and many other things. No matter what you are interested in, if you love Jesus, then you will fit right in. We have a "come as you are" policy and want you to be exactly yourself, because God made each one of us unique and we love you for who you are.
